This is a poem a wrote about finding yourself. :) You’re own mind chum.
Lost Property.
This is something that doesn’t cost money,
Something you have to find,
You might not think that you’ve lost anything,
But to this you could be blind.
It could be the best thing you’ve ever discovered
It definately won’t be the worst.
Are you searching in the right place?
Go back to where you looked first.
The Place you were before you started,
When you thought about where to look
to find what you thought was lost in your world.
nobody ever took.
Izzy.

a cripple
A cripple
I once was a little girl
Sitting on the high fence
Drawing princesses and ballet dancers
I could be anything I wanted…
I used to change like weather
Unpredictable
Intense
Anything could happen
I used to think like a bird
In search of a place to stretch my wings
With no hesitation
No limits.
Just like a kite
Carefree
Looking forward to strong winds
Longing for adventure.
But then after the sunset
I’d turn into an owl.
Full of regrets and fears
And doubts.
And then I’d wake up being a tourist
Just living in a moment
Not thinking about tomorrow
Or about who I left back home.
But then a phone call…
I lost my leg!!!!!!!!!!
My leg is gone!!!!
How can it be??
I thought maybe they’re lying
But I looked down….
And it’s really gone!!!
My own leg!!
My dearest, dearest leg…
I don’t even want this freedom anymore!
I don’t want this thrill and adventures
I don’t want anything!!
I just want my leg back!!!!
Some people told me I can live without it
But…
Can I really??
Can I really live happily without my leg??
When guilt shouts at me every day
Because I didn’t look after it enough…
And don’t even know who I am anymore…
Who am i???????????
An actress ???
Smiling on the stage
And crying behind the curtain…
An old pensioner??
Watching tv
Instead of living
Am I a puzzle?
A rubik cube??
A knot??
That even I can’t figure out
And maybe never will…
…..
…..
So I sit here
Crying on a cheesy movie
Mum’s genes…
